The Art of Perfection - No.3 Gin

CHALLENGE

No.3 Gin is a masterpiece created by London’s oldest spirit and wine merchant, Berry Bros. & Rudd, voted Best in the World four times. But with gin being more popular than ever, how could we make it stand out against more well-known brands with bigger budgets…

SOLUTION

We looked to the product for answers – the liquid itself. By examining it up close – 40X closer – we see what made it so undeniably special. Together with New-York-based micro-photographer Justin Zoll, we crystalised and froze elements of No.3 and several of their signature cocktails, capturing the masterpiece that lay beneath. What we saw was a true reflection of No.3 Gin’s artistry.

With our series of art prints – entitled The Art of Perfection (our new brand platform) – we created a striking new design language for No.3, that was flexible enough to be applied everywhere. Launching at London Design Festival, we then painted the town technicolour – our pattern across posters, OOH, social media, activations, and in-store.
